These Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad Sliders are a viral recipe for a reason — and they’re even better cooked on the Blackstone Griddle. Toasted King’s Hawaiian buns, crispy fried chicken, and a rich Caesar salad (complete with bacon and parmesan) come together for the ultimate hand-held sandwich. Perfect for weeknight dinners, game day spreads, or anytime you want to serve something that gets people talking.
Ingredients
- King’s Hawaiian slider buns
- Thin-sliced chicken breast
- Caesar salad dressing (I used Olive Garden brand)
- Romaine lettuce
- Bacon (cooked and chopped)
- Shaved parmesan cheese
- All-purpose flour
- Eggs (for dredging)
- Garlic salt
- Grated parmesan cheese (for flour seasoning)
- Peanut oil (or other frying oil)
Instructions
1. Heat the Oil
- Add about 1 inch of peanut oil to a foil pan and place it on the Blackstone griddle over high heat.
- Bring the oil to 350°F.
2. Cook the Bacon
- Cook bacon on a separate part of the griddle over medium-low heat until crispy.
- Drain on paper towels, then chop into small pieces.
3. Make the Caesar Salad
- Shred romaine lettuce and place in a large bowl.
- Add shaved parmesan and chopped bacon.
- Pour in Caesar dressing and toss until well coated. Set aside.
4. Set Up the Frying Station
- Bowl 1: All-purpose flour seasoned with garlic salt and grated parmesan.
- Bowl 2: Beaten eggs for egg wash.
5. Bread and Fry the Chicken
- Dredge thin-sliced chicken breast in seasoned flour → dip in egg wash → dredge again in seasoned flour.
- Carefully place breaded chicken into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
6. Toast the Slider Buns
- Slice the slider buns as a sheet.
- Toast both cut sides on the griddle until golden brown (watch closely — they toast quickly).
7. Assemble the Sliders
- Layer fried chicken on the bottom buns.
- Pile on the Caesar salad.
- Place the top buns on and slice into individual sliders.
Tips & Variations
- Swap Caesar dressing for ranch or a creamy garlic sauce for a twist.
- Use chicken tenders if you prefer smaller cuts.
- Serve immediately to keep the chicken crispy and the salad fresh.
